Provance.net provides free promotion
for personal web blogs and journal web sites.
The success of your blog is important to us.
We will provide your web site with more exposure, hits and comments.
We will soon be offering web hosting, web counters,
advanced php scripts and much more as well.
In order for Provance to be a friendly place, and in order for you to be a part of this program, there are some terms of service that you need to follow.
Site:
To be a member, your site must fit into the following criteria.
1. The site you sign up with must be a personal blog. Your site cannot be a board, fan site, directory or anything else that is not a personal blog.
2. Your site cannot contain any pornography, offensive/hate content or illegal material.
3 On your blog, you must have a way for people to comment. (Example: GreyMatter, b2, MovableType, Haloscan, etc). We do not allow guest books or tag boards to be your commenting system.
4. Your site MUST be in English.
5. Your site cannot be on hiatus (break, etc) and must remain active during your membership with Provance unless you have set your account on vacation in the control panel..
Obligation:
1. You MUST comment on the three sites you receive in your email/control panel each day within 3 days of receiving them. (When you comment, you must read the blog, don't give a small "nice layout" comment). When you comment on these sites, be sure to use your Provance.net username to be sure you comments are recognized. You must comment on these sites within 72 hours (3 days).
2. You MUST put the "Text Code" on your site. In your control panel, if you add your banner to the banner rotation then you must put the banner code on your site as well. This means you would have both codes on your site. You cannot just have the banner code. If we see your banner in the banner rotation without the banner code on your site, your account will be suspended. (Note: The code MUST be on the page of your blog. It CANNOT be on your splash page!)
3. If you go on vacation, you must make sure you click the "Vacation" button in the control panel, this way no emails are sent to you telling you to comment.
4. You must respect all members; do not leave nasty comments on a person's site.
5. Respect all staff in general.
6. If a site does not display on your computer, the comment link is missing or doesn't work, or anything else is preventing you from commenting.. report it to http://provance.net/report.php as broken. The staff will verify the problem. If it can be verified no complaints against you will be recorded. If we cannot verify the problem you will still be responsible for commenting.
Please remember, being a part of the Provance program is a privilege. We are giving your site opportunity to be discovered.
